Miniature and Tweener
First let's get the big question out of the way. What is a tweener? Tweener is a term used by breeders to describe a dachshund that is in between a miniature and a standard. Now let's talk about size. A miniature is a dachshund that weighs 11 pounds or less. A standard is a dachshund that weighs 16 pounds and over. A tweener is a dachshund that weighs over 11 pounds but less then 16 pounds. All weights are of dogs at least one year of age, because that is when the dog stops growing. A miniature dachshund is 11 pounds or less and a tweener dachshund is more then 11 pounds but less then 16.
All Of Our Dachshands Are Registered With The American Kennel Club
All of our prices include full AKC Registration. We don't make you pay extra for the papers. They are included in the price. All of our dogs are healthy and happy. The puppies are raised in our home and are part of our family. We have been breeding Dachshunds since 1997. Over the years we have had many satisfied customers, many return customers and made many good friends.
Males are $475.00 and females are $550.00.
We require a $50.00 deposit to guarantee that you receive your puppy when it's ready to go to your home.
As soon as we receive your deposit we will e-mail you weekly picture updates so you can watch your puppy grow and develope. A lot happens in the first eight weeks of a puppy's life and most people never get a chance to experience this special time. Please e-mail us with any questions that you may have about any of the puppies and we will give you a quick responce. Thank you.
The deposit can be paid with a personal check, Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover via PayPal.
Your puppy will be dewormed, vaccinated and Vet checked before it goes to your home!

This little girl was checked by the Vet and has a hernia. The Vet said she should be fine but can not bred. She will make someone a wonderful pet.
These puppies were born the week of Septpmber 22ND and will be ready for their new homes the week of November 10Th. These two litters are mostly long coats. Please e-mail us for more pictures and information.
